Team supervisor role

The Alpine Pizza co started in 2017 predominantly as a wedding caterer Providing Authentic Wood fired Pizza from our Converted Horse box. We have now tripled in capacity and work with all kinds of exciting and unique events, corporate hospitality and independent festivals.

We are looking for a new team member work with us as we grow and to help us with all of the new and exciting events that are happening from 2022 onwards.

Before we go into the role the most important thing is that we all share the same values. Without them the role is irrelevant!

What is the role?

We are looking for someone to assist in the day to day running of the business. Duties would include:

  • Manage and run events – This will include working as part of the team setting up for events and prepping to Cooking top quality Wood fired Pizza (training provided)

  • Managing the calendar of events, staff rotas, and ordering of stock etc.

  • Manage and implement our HACCP system and any staff training needs.

  • Help with maintaining our fleet of vehicles and trailers

  • Weekend and evening working

  • Driving our targets to become a fully sustainable.

Qualities, skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Somebody who is forward thinking, pro-active and organised with a good eye for problem solving and implementing processes.

  • Great customer service: We always strive to give our customers an unforgettable experience.

  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings. We try to ensure a good work life balance in all we do but events tend to be at weekends so we have to work with what we've got!

  • Experience in either restaurant operations or festival catering.

  • A confident driver, ideally in towing vehicles too. A full clean towing licence would be ideal, but training could be provided for the right candidate.

  • Have fun, don’t take yourself too seriously and enjoy your time with us: it’s a big part of all our lives. We’re here to be successful and earn good money but we want to have fun along the way.

Job Types: Full-time, seasonal

Salary: £13.00 per hour 30-40 hours
